Senior Product Manager, Transportation Technology

About the Role Coupang is seeking a Product Manager to join the International Transportation Product team, responsible for building and scaling technology products that power our end-to-end transportation network across Asia. This role owns products spanning the entire transportation journey, from supplier pickup and fulfillment center movement to last-mile delivery and returns. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and data teams to develop innovative products that improve efficiency, reliability, and customer experience. This is not a Taiwan-only role. The successful candidate will have opportunities to drive transportation technology initiatives with global impact, including our strategic address intelligence platform and next-generation delivery applications across multiple markets.   What You Will Do Product Ownership <ul> <li>Own and manage products across the full transportation lifecycle:</li> <li>First Mile (Supplier → Fulfillment Center)</li> <li>Middle Mile (Fulfillment Center → Delivery Station)</li> <li>Last Mile (Delivery Station → Customer / Returns)</li> <li>Define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements based on business needs and operational challenges.</li> <li>Write detailed product requirements and work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.</li> <li>Partner with operations teams to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvement, and service enhancement.</li> </ul> Transportation Technology Innovation <ul> <li>Lead the development of transportation technology products that improve network efficiency and delivery performance.</li> <li>Drive adoption of new products through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot programs, and large-scale rollout across the network.</li> <li>Develop AI-powered solutions to enhance delivery quality, compliance, and operational excellence.</li> </ul> Address Intelligence Platform <ul> <li>Contribute to the development of Coupang's proprietary address intelligence platform.</li> <li>Build products that leverage delivery insights collected across millions of customer interactions and thousands of drivers.</li> <li>Help create scalable infrastructure that improves address accuracy, route efficiency, and delivery success rates across markets.</li> </ul> Delivery App Experience <ul> <li>Drive enhancements to the delivery applications used by drivers.</li> <li>Work on innovative capabilities including:</li> <li>Real-time delivery photo verification</li> <li>Location compliance validation</li> <li>Image intelligence and automation</li> <li>AI-powered operational tools</li> </ul> Cross-Functional Leadership <ul> <li>Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics, and Business stakeholders.</li> <li>Make data-driven product decisions through metrics analysis and experimentation.</li> <li>Influence transportation technology strategy across Taiwan and other international markets.</li> </ul>   Basic Qualifications <ul> <li>8+ years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience.</li> <li>Proven experience managing products from concept through launch and adoption.</li> <li>Strong experience writing product requirements and working closely with engineering teams.</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li> <li>Fluent English & Chinese communication skills (written and verbal).</li> <li>Currently based in Taiwan</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience in Transportation, Logistics, Mobility, Ride-Hailing, Delivery, or Supply Chain industries.</li> <li>Software Engineering background, especially candidates who transitioned from SDE to Product Management.</li> <li>Experience building data-intensive or platform products.</li> <li>Experience working with AI, machine learning, or operational technology products.</li> <li>Experience working across multiple countries or global teams.</li> </ul> Why Join Us? <ul> <li>Build transportation products with global impact.</li> <li>Own mission-critical systems supporting one of the fastest-growing eCommerce networks in Asia.</li> <li>Work on cutting-edge AI applications in logistics and delivery.</li> <li>Influence product strategy across multiple markets, including Taiwan, Korea, and future expansion markets.</li> <li>Partner with highly collaborative teams spanning Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations.</li> </ul>
