This is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of Coupang’s growth in Taiwan and create a world where our customers wonder, “How did I ever live without Coupang?”      Role Overview: We are seeking an exceptionally pragmatic and results-driven Lead Data Analyst to be the strategic core of our Supply Chain team. Your mission is to solve our toughest demand forecasting and inventory challenges—from preventing stockouts to clearing excess goods. This is not a back-office reporting role. You will be a hands-on catalyst who can "figure things out," develop clever solutions, and collaborate across the company to see your insights implemented in our production systems. What You Will Do: <ul> <li>Ideate & Develop Smart Heuristics:Proactively identify weaknesses in our supply chain systems and develop smart, practical logic from solving them. Your focus will be on driving demand forecast improvements, Out-of-Stock (OOS) and excess inventory attribution models.</li> <li>Build Rapid Proof-of-Concepts (POCs):Quickly validate your ideas with hands-on POCs. You will build working prototypes, such as a Root Cause Analysis dashboard that automatically attributes OOS events to causes like 'Under-forecasting'.</li> <li>Product Analytics: Participate in experimentation design, A/B tests, cohort studies and measuring the effectiveness of product launches.</li> <li>AI & prompt Engineering: Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced prompt engineering to automate unstructured data, and accelerate internal analytical workflows.</li> <li>Champion for Productionalization:Partner closely with our Demand Planning and Engineering teams to get your validated POCs productionalized. You are the subjectmatter expert who ensures your logic is accurately integrated into our core inventory planning systems.</li> <li>Become the GoTo Expert: Own the analytics around our key supply chain KPIs, including demand forecast accuracy, Sell- through and forecast coverage. You will not just report on these numbers; you will provide the "why" behind them.</li> <li>Act as a Data Translator:Proactively communicate with technical and nontechnical partners, ensuring stakeholders understand not just the 'what' but the 'so what' of your findings. You are the bridge that turns complex analysis into clear business directives.</li> </ul>   Basic Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience: 8+ years of relevant working experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role.</li> <li>Technical Stack: Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data extraction and manipulation.</li> <li>AI Proficiency: Practical experience with prompt engineering and using generative AI tools to solve data problems or automate content generation.</li> <li>Visualization: Mastery of data storytelling using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools to communicate insights effectively to non-experts.</li> <li>Communication: Business-level fluency in English with a proven ability to teach and onboard non-technical business users.</li> </ul>   Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with version control (GitHub) and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.</li> <li>Content & Documentation: Experience managing internal wikis (e.g., Confluence, Notion) or building structured knowledge bases for large organizations.</li> <li>Domain Expertise: Previous experience in Retail, E-commerce and Demand Forecasting.</li> <li>Quantitative Depth: Strong knowledge of statistics and ML techniques (e.g., elasticity modeling, clustering for customer segmentation).</li> </ul>   Recruitment Process Application Review - Phone Interview - Onsite (or Virtual Onsite) Interview – Offer The exact nature of the recruitment process may vary according to the specific job and may be changed due to scheduling or other circumstances.
